Frequently Asked Questions

1- Where will the event be a HERO? Are there parking spaces?

The event will take place at the Académie de la Seigneurie in Casselman and parking is free.

2- If the event is canceled, will I be refunded?

In the event that the Be a HERO event is canceled due to weather conditions, all participants who have paid a registration fee will be entitled to a tax receipt for the amount paid. No refund will be issued. The registration fee will be converted into donations to the CHEO Foundation.

3- Where can I deposit my belongings during the race?

You can leave your luggage at the baggage claim kiosk. An identification card will be given to you for the recovery of your personal effects after the race.

4- What is the start time of each race?

The starting times for each race are as follows:

  • 20 km (bicycle): 9:40 am (untimed event)

  • 5 km (walk / run): 10:30 am (untimed event)

5- Do I have to pick up my t-shirt before the day of the event?

No. It is best to come and look for your t-shirt on the day of the event.

6- I would like to volunteer.

7- What are the payment methods?

We accept cash and personal checks made at "Be a hero".

Debit/credit cards are not accepted on the day of the event.

Online registration requires a credit card.
